Tired of your tiller falling down when you climb in your velomobile? This holder should fix the problem. Currently available for the Buelks and Milans, this involves a part that screws onto the current holder on the cockpit and another piece that clips over the brake lever. Thanks to the strength and longevity of neodynium magnets, this solution will last much longer than the tension fit piece. If you are interested in an adaptation of this solution for other models of velomobiles, please contact me with pictures of your tiller relative to the front of the cockpit opening.
Please note this magnet was tested with a Garmin Edge 530 unit mounted on the tiller. With heavier GPS units the magnet may not be strong enough to hold during entry and exit. I am happy to design a version with a stronger magnet if desired, or alternately remove the GPS prior to entry and exit to reduce the weight the magnet needs to support.
Please note 3D printed items may sometimes show small cosmetic defects. These defects do not impact the function of the design and are purely cosmetic in nature. Also note that 3D printed materials are made of plastic and are prone to scratches.
