Why a WAW?

With over a decade of refinement, the WAW is known for its consistent quality and unique features. The WAW offers a wide variety of options to configure everything from a light and stiff sporty velomobile to the ultimate commuting and touring velomobile.

Weather Protection

The race hood can be removed and stored behind the seat and installed quickly should you be caught in the rain. The visor can be adjusted to allow a cooling breeze and the optional air intake in the nose provides additional airflow.

Comfort

The optional rear air shock offers the ability to set the suspension to as hard or soft as you prefer. Since it’s a traditional MTB airshock, it’s easier to find a local shop to service it should you have any issues.

Cargo Capacity

With the fully isolated chainline, the WAW offers storage on either side of the rear wheel and seat. There are no portions of the chainline exposed from inside the cabin, so your things will never fall into the chain.

Internally Geared Hub Options

The WAW can be configured with Rohloff rear hub and either Pinion Gearbox or Schlumpf Mountain Drive in front making it possible to have a very low-maintenance drivetrain.

Safety

The WAW offers the option of a Kevlar shell. Kevlar will not shatter in an accident. This provides additional safety to the rider. With the removable nose and tail, it is often possible to replace these parts in the event of a collision.

E-Assist Options

The WAW is unique in its ability to offer either a hub or middrive. Whether you are a commuter looking for a comfortable ride, need the extra help up hills and accelerating, or just prefer a more leisurely riding experience, the WAW can handle it.
