Printed from 83a TPE, this headrest is the ideal long-term solution for comfort while riding. It is relatively soft and will not break down over time. Thanks to the magic of 3D printing, the headrest can easily be printed in custom sizes as well as the currently available options. For custom sizing contact me privately. The headrest is designed to be soft, but also to provide enough shock absorption to protect your head in the event of an accident or other hard hit. While it will not completely take the shape of the headbump, it will stay attached with velcro. The headrest may look a bit odd on velomobiles with more curved headrests. I would be happy to develop an adapter if riders will supply me with the dimensions of the curve of the headrest area.
Now provided with a soft printed adapter module to better fit curved headbumps. To install, remove the existing headrest and replace with this headrest, or if installing as new, remove the backing from the provided velcro and firmly press it against the mounting surface. It is advisable to first clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol to ensure firm hold of the adhesive. Optionally you can also heat the velcro with a hot air gun for better adhesion.
